Claudia Voss is managing director and head of the countries and markets department at Afrika-Verein (AV). She has been working for AV since 2015, initially as press spokeswoman. Before that, Voss worked in various media companies, most recently as head of duty at a local Hamburg television broadcaster and for various publications by Axel Springer Verlag. Voss studied at the University of Hamburg, the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, the Bayero University in Nigeria and the Université Cheikh Anta Diop in Senegal.
