Fred is the Managing Director for InterAfrica Corporate Limited, a management consultancy and business development services firm, and The Executive Director for HortiFresh, the Apex Body for the fresh fruits and vegetables sector. Fred is an expert at nurturing, incubating and supporting business membership organizations towards sector led policy advocacy and PPD, inclusion, sustainability and growth. He has also scoped and designed a trade facilitation project on e-Commerce, SPS for Horticulture for the World Economic Forum and the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, and also Supported export promotion and diversification in Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Nepal, Angola, Madagascar.

Fred holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University, a post Grad Diploma in Legal practice (Advocate of the High court of Uganda) and is a London School of Economics (LSE, LLM Merit) trained Senior international finance, trade and investment lawyer, SME and financial sector development practitioner with over 30 years’ technical and executive-level experience and exposure across over 40 countries, supporting governments, donors, SMEs, business associations and civil society organizations while working with various organizations like the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank, Uganda Manufacturers’ Association, among others. He has over a decade of experience Managing and Consulting for Public, Private Sector and Development Partner Corporations or Programs funded by the World Economic Forum, Swisscontact, DFID / FCDO, USAID, DANIDA, EU, UNDP, UNICO, UNCTAD, among others.
