Geoffrey Okidi is a professional agricultural economist with more than ten years of experience in private sector agribusiness development in Uganda. He holds a First-Class Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (Economics Option) and Master of Business Administration degree, both obtained from Makerere university. He also holds a First-Class Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from the Uganda Management Institute. Geoffrey has recently completed a Diploma from Galilee International Management Institute focusing on SME growth through Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is currently the Head of Portfolio Development at aBi Development Ltd, a social enterprise with the overall vision to contribute to ‘a competitive and sustainable agriculture and agribusiness sector in Uganda in support of equitable wealth creation’. At aBi, Geoffrey is responsible for leading strategy development, identification and contracting of a comprehensive portfolio of influential implementing partners, and leading the team in program quality and learning activities.
