Jakob Hornbach is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bodawerk International Ltd. a Ugandan Lithium-Ion battery and e-mobility company. He obtained his masters in Industrial Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany and worked in the fields of rapid prototyping and agile product development previously. Jakob is now leading the company with a vision of a green and industrialized Uganda. The products developed and manufactured in Uganda include Lithium-Ion battery packs and electric motorcycles (E-Boda) among others. Bodawerks business model rotates around a shared and circular economy of Lithium-Ion batteries and represents core values of 'Responsibility', 'Teamwork' and 'Equality & Tolerance'.
