JamesOne has over 30 years’ experience in the Construction Industry. He is the current
President of Uganda National Association of Building & Civil Engineering Contractors
(UNABCEC)—an umbrella body that brings together International, Local, Resident and National
Construction Providers; with the mission to promote and protect the shared interests of the
construction industry, through mobilization, advocacy, networking, and innovative service
provision.
Olonya is the Founder and Chairing Director of ANINELIA GENIC Ltd, Education, Construction and
Consultancy Services’ Provider. He sits in various Boards in Leadership and Management Sector;
an Elder and Member of the Church Governing Council of Watoto Church, and Chairperson of
the Church’s Contracts and Land Committees.
He has work experience with wide-ranging stakeholders; Clients, Consultants, Contractors and
Subcontractors; having been engaged across-the-board on Development and Infrastructure
projects; including Uganda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya, India and the Democratic Republic
of Congo.
JamesOne has been pivotal in providing leading Contract Management Services in major
construction firms, including being the Country Rep of M/S SADEEM Al-KUWAIT Trading Co. Ltd,
Board Director Contract Manager M/S DOTT SERVICES LTD, M/S GENERAL COMPANY FOR ROADS
& BRIDGES-EGYPTS, M/S STIRLING INT. LTD., SKANSKA JENSEN INT., M/S COLAS, PHIL &
INTERTECH, World Food Programme, M/S ASSIST SS; among others. He has many years of
experience preparing and defending Contractors’ Claims, Independent Reviewer of Projects in
Dispute, Contractual Advices, Adjudication and Expert Witness Works.
