
Katrin Winter
Katrin Winter is the Head of strategy for East Africa at the Estonian Centre for International Development. She initiates and leads interventions with a strong digital development and inclusion focus in education, employment and governance across East and Southern Africa. Her strong academic background in Sino-Africa relations focusing on resource management and governance ties in with her extensive work experience in development from Bangladesh to Zimbabwe. Mrs Winter has previously managed programmes for policy change and development with the British Council, Let’s Do It! Movement and a number of NGOs.
In her current role, she is passionate about identifying and implementing shared objectives for Africa and Europe, and extending the existing narratives on Africa in Estonia. Mrs Winter is driven by cooperation opportunities to create synergies between countries, people and organisations towards a more inclusive global society.
