A mechanical engineer registered with the Engineers Registration Board, Uganda and a Corporate Member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers. I have a Doctorate in Materials Science (Extractive Process Metallurgy) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm and a post graduate and bachelors degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Makerere University, Kampala. I have over 10 years’ experience in research, policy formulation and review, development planning, lecturing, industrial development and technical operations, standards development, energy planning and utilisation among others. I have headed a number of projects funded by both the Uganda Government and Development Partners at national, regional and the international level. Am currently heading the department, at National Planning Authority, that is planning for the integration and use of science and technology in Uganda’s economy in order to achieve Vision 2040.
