
Patrick Kamara
Patrick has vast experience in radio and TV production, and he has worked as a radio journalist and producer for more than 15 years. Before joining Wizarts Foundation as a production Manager, Patrick worked with: NTV as a news producer, he handled the prime time news bulletin NTV Tonight. He also worked as a talk show host; Daily Monitor as a reporter; and Voice of Toro as a news editor and station manager
He extensively reported on the conflicts in the region often staying at the battlefront in South Sudan, the DRC and Somalia. He was among the group of selected African journalists that were invited by the US state department to cover the 2008 election
He is an award-winning journalist having scooped the COMESA media Award in 2009 and the Uganda radio Journalist of the year award in 2004. Patrick Has B.A in Mass Communication, a Diploma in radio and TV Production
He is also an Edward Murrow Fellow.
Patrick was recently appointed minister for ICT in Tooro Kingdom.
