Eugene is an Investment and International Development Finance expert with 13+ years of experience in both developed and developing countries (East Africa). Currently engaged as the Deputy Team Leader, advising a KfW fund , the Biodiversity Investment Fund implemented by the East African Development Bank with a focus on financing enterprises promoting conservation and biodiversity in their businesses i.e tourism, organic agriculture, forestry, renewable energy and aquaculture. Prior to this, Eugene spent several years in pensions and asset management and investment management – overseeing deals from origination to close.
Eugene possess an undergraduate in Economics from Makerere University, Uganda and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from University of Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University, California.
