Currently spearheading the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Project at the Ministry. The project focuses on development of market infrastructure, stimulation of demand and construction of the enabling environment for LPG. It is currently at feasibility study stage and it is aimed at up scaling usage of the LPG at household level in Uganda through a series of interventions.
John is also responsible for coordination of stakeholders involved in procurement, transportation, distribution and stocks of Petroleum Products in the landlocked Uganda and is actively involved in sustaining stable supply of the Products in the country. In addition he monitors and enforces implementation and observance of principles of a free market and fair competition in Uganda’s Petroleum Downstream Sub sector.
