Pamela Anyoti Peronaci is an award winning Social Entrepreneur. She graduated in Political Science from Makerere University; has an MSc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of London – Imperial College at Wye and a professional certificate in Trade and Agriculture from the World Trade Institute, Bern, Switzerland. She worked at FAO Techncial Cooperation Department in Rome from 2001 to 2005 before moving to Brussels to join the private sector in a partnership with JHB International Trade and Finance – trading cocoa and spices from the Caribbean and Latin American region.
In 2007, she co-founded Sunshine Agro Products and is the CEO of her brand company Asante Mama Natural Products, that works with thousands of farm families to produce branded products in Uganda for exports.
A passionate advocate of Agribusiness, she is a public speaker and launched an Agribusiness Mentorship and Personal Growth Masterclass in 2019 to support the next cohort of Diaspora Agribusiness Entrepreneurs.
Her achievements include accolades from Forbes Magazine, the Eco-Excellence Award (US, 2017), the Best Artisan Award of the Artigiano in Fiera (Italy, 2015), and the Impact & Innovation Award – Builders of Africa’s Future from the African Diaspora Network in Silicon Valley (2019). She was appointed first inaugural Fellow of African Diaspora Network to the Skoll Foundation at Oxford in 2019. In 2020 she was nominated by FAO and the Uganda Agribusiness Alliance for Uganda Diaspora Agribusiness Investor Award 2020.
She has recently been appointed by FAO as Technical Advisor for Climate Resilient Cocoa Value Chain Development in Uganda.
